We are pleased to offer a Canadian made reproduction buttstock for a Winchester 1897/97 12GA Shotgun, unfinished.

Notes:

• The pictures are for reference only. The product shipped to you will likely be different in colour and wood grain.
• The wood is black walnut. The stock pattern is based on original factory stocks.
• They can be oversized and it is recommended they be fitted and finished by individuals with experience.
• If an original stock was checkered, to keep costs low the stock has been left uncheckered, but this can always be added by a gunsmith/woodworker before finishing.
• In some instances, a plastic buttplate is installed as many originals have been lost or misplaced. Most versions of steel buttplates are obsolete.
• Feedback from customers is that some guns, like lever actions, require more fitting due to bent tangs from use or poor quality control by the manufacturer.
